Funding For Events
Introduction
Academi has three funding schemes which can offer support towards literature workshops, lectures, readings, conferences, stomps, poems & pints nights and indeed any event concerned with the practice, promotion, appreciation or development of creative writing:
Academi also offers funding for Young Writers Squads.
All offer support to literature promoters and educational establishments throughout Wales. Academi’s staff will be pleased to advise on any aspect of your literature planning and this section of the site gives full details about each scheme.
Year on year these three schemes together provide funding for around 1,400 separate events with a total audience/ participation of over 90,000. Before too long, the Academi will be welcoming its one millionth audience member.
The side panel (to the left) provides further information about the funding guidelines which govern what we can and can’t support, informs you on how to submit a bid for funding (including an online application form) and finally, advises on how to acknowledge Academi if you have received funding.
