Application form for Academi funding
We recommend that organisers new to the Academi's literature funding schemes should first e-mail us or telephone us on 029 2047 2266 before proceeding. The Academi staff have extensive experience of event administration and promotion and will be able to assist you in planning your event or author visit effectively.
The information below will enable us to consider your application and also allow us to give publicity to events where appropriate on our website and in A470 magazine. Promoters of public events are urged to check our events listings to ensure that there is no clash with major events or comparable local events.
For a season of events on different dates, please complete one form per event. We need at the very least one month's notice for public events and a fortnight's notice for closed events in educational establishments.
If you are preparing publicity material for this event, please ensure that the Academi's logo is carried on programmes, posters, fliers etc. We cannot support events where publicity material has already been prepared without appropriate acknowledgement.
We will respond promptly to your application either by sending a formal offer of support on the basis of the information you supply on this form or by contacting you for any supplementary information we may need. In the event that we are unable to offer support, we shall let you know the reasons for our decision.
When your request has been successfully submitted, you will receive an acknowledgement by e-mail. Acknowledgements are generated during office hours. Requests for funding made overnight or at a weekend will generally not be acknowledged until the Academi office next opens.
